We are seeking a Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer (PHP, Magento) to join a creative team working on client's e-commerce sites. You will be working as part of a team to build new PHP applications as well as maintaining and updating currently built sites. This is a fast paced environment where the focus is on customer delivery and product development. We are passionate about the work as well as writing good code. You must be a self-starter and able to work without supervision but still be able to collaborate with others when necessary. Ideally someone that has been actively working with Magento for at least 6 months or more. We need someone with an understanding of the patterns of the system.
Requirements: 5-10 Years Application Development Experience
Expert level experience
• PHP 5 Application/logic layer Development
Strong Experience/Understanding of:
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Magento or Demandware or ATG Commerce
• E-commerce
• Improving current business processes
Nice to have skills
• Java, Ruby on Rails, Python
• Building Applications for the Database Layer
• MySQL, some database optimization, queries.
• Worked with high demand sites.
• Client side exposure, experience managing clients or interacting with them.
