I have a new job - developing a site for a new company in Drupal. We want a module that will perform a very simple calculation. I've looked around and calculator modules seem to be lacking, at least from what I can see.
Basic purpose of this: Charitable organization puts in their fundraising number from a month in 2009. The calculator works with a variable that we would provide and gives them an estimation of their fundraising for that same month this year. I think it's a pretty simple calculation. Might be able to modify some existing module.
A(B)=X
A is the number supplied by the site user
B is a rate of change variable (percentage up or down) that changes each month and is supplied by us in the module admin.
X=the predicted giving number shown to the site user.
We want to keep it kind of simple. If we're in June, it only calculates for June of 2010 based on June of 2009 numbers.
We're looking for something that we can display on our site but more importantly offer as a widget so other fundraising sites can display it with a link back to us.
