Does anyone know how to restore the "Post New Comment" field to a Drupal 6 forum?
Until recently, our website forum worked normally in the sense that at the end of someone's post, you could see "Post New Comment." You could reply by typing in the fields displayed below.
Suddenly that Comment field disappeared. The only change to the site I can think of during this time is that the FCK editor on the site was first disabled and then enabled. But as far as I know there was no change made to the forum.
I'm new to Drupal so wasn't sure what to do. I checked Permissions, but the roles allow users to post. Then I checked Forum configuration but it doesn't show anything to do with "Post New Comment"
Is there some other section that allows you to click the comment field back on? Yeah, it's awkward having a forum where people can't comment, so your ideas are welcome!
