I have been trying to get things organized but church has made things a little difficult. I have been asked to work with the youth in our ward which has taken a busy schedule and made it crazy. In the last week I have had all of 3 evenings of free time and tomorrow I'm taking them camping in Zion for the week.
Anyone who is willing or able I would appreciate your help. Things that need doing:
- Someone needs to look at an organization that will work well for the sessions. We will have two rooms that can be combined into one if we want to have some type of keynote or even just a very popular session.
- I think we should try to at least have lunch on Saturday. Apple Spice Junction is just down the street and does catering of box lunches, NYPD Pizzaria and Skool Lunch are in the complex and have been open to bringing stuff over in the past as well. Gather opinions/make a decision. Is anyone willing to sponsor lunch?
- With 22 registered, do we want to still try to do a training session? Price? Anyone know how to go about getting one setup?
-- A possible alternative would be to have an activity/event. I'm doing a lot of hiking now so that was my first though (though not necessarily a good one). Any other ideas?
-If anyone is familiar with COD and we get a schedule together while I'm gone please help get the schedule on the site. Jeremy can help with access to things.
