Position Summary*
The incumbent, who reports to the identity management and portal director in the Division of Information Technology, is responsible for supporting information technology related to identity management and portal. The main focus of this role will be workflow design and implementation. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting with department website migration and development, accounts management, and other identity management support.
Minimum Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus demonstrated experience in software development, workflow implementation, and web content management. Experience working with customers in a support or service role. Experience with application integration (preferred technologies shown in parentheses) including directories (Active Directory), virtual directories (Oracle Virtual Directory), email (Exchange 2010, Live@edu), identity management systems (Trident, ILM), web content management (Drupal, Sharepoint), databases (Oracle, MySQL). Experience with full software development lifecycle including software configuration management such as SVN and Git, testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium, and development languages and frameworks such as Groovy, PHP, Drupal, and Spring. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with workflow design software, preferably Bonita
- Experience with scripting languages such as groovy
- Experience with an identity management solution
- Experience with PHP and Drupal
- Experience with a support ticketing system
- Working knowledge of Oracle and MySQL database and connectivity protocols
- Experience with the entire custom application development cycle
- Experience with testing tools and framework such as JMeter, Selenium, JUnit, PHPUnit, Simpletest
- Experience with continuous integration technology such as Luntbuild, Quickbuild, Cruise Control
- Experience with build system / build tools such as Ant, Phing or Shell script
- Understanding of Unix infrastructure and enterprise application systems
- Experience with PeopleSoft ERP integration
- Experience with Hibernate, Spring
- Experience with web single sign-on technologies such as Shibboleth and SAML 2
- Experience in higher education institutions
