Role Description
We are looking for unique, innovative web application developers. The type of people who like to stay up late and work on exciting problems,and seek to make a positive impact on all projects that they touch. Key responsibilities will include:
• Design and develop Drupal-based applications and sites from start to finish
• Development of detailed project and product specifications
• Integration of web and mobile applications through web services
• Document code, write and run application and unit tests
• Work closely with and report status to inter-office teams
• Contribute customized, sanitized modules to Drupal's open source community
Job Requirements
Individuals interesting in applying should possess the following skills:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
• 3-5 years of web and PHP development
• Expertise in content management systems, with at least 1 year of experience in Drupal module/core development and an intimate familiarity with the Drupal API
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong initiative and a proven track record of success
• A strong desire to be proactive and do things differently
The following skills would also be desirable:
• Evidence of contribution to Drupal's open source community
• Knowledge of Javascript libraries such as jQuery and standards compliant HTML/CSS
• Building high performance web pages with Drupal in a multi-site environment
• Comfortable working in a version-controlled software development environment (i.e. Git, Subversion)
