How to block spammers on groups.drupal.org

This document is advice for maintainers of groups.drupal.org on how to handle a spammer on the site.

1. Create an issue in the spam component. This also makes the spam issue list a great one to subscribe to if you are looking to help out with it.
2. Block their account on drupal.org (if you have that permission). The bakery module will also block them on groups.drupal.org. If you cannot block their account on drupal.org, then the issue you created in step 1 should really be filed in the webmasters queue
3. Visit their user profile page on groups.drupal.org. You will see a tab for "Administer comments" and a second for "Administer nodes" - these are "Views Bulk Operations" tools to delete all content from a user.
   
4. Mark the issue you created in step 1 as fixed.
