Agenda
Drupal Site Translation and Translation Testing for D6 & D7
An in-depth look at managing translations for complex Drupal projects using .po files. Building upon these .po file skills, we will build a translation "unit testing" system. As icing on the i18n cake, we will go over common translation issues, tips, and tricks.
James Andres has been a Drupal developer since version 4.6. He got his start with Drupal building for the music start up www.projectopus.com, though it's sadly now offline. He then went on to a senior Drupal role at Work at Play. Most notably, he led the development of mattel.com, and other Mattel sites. Recently, He's been living in London, UK, working for the social media agency FreshNetworks. Currently he's back in Vancouver, self employed and developing on a contract basis.
Lightning Talks
Attendees are invited to share their experience by giving a 2 to 4 minute presentation on any topic of interest to the Drupal community. If you want to use a laptop to show a website or control panel please be sure you have the necessary cable to connect to an overhead projector.
