Our missing pet web site is up and running. We create a flier and send it to vets, retailers and shelters. From what I have seen we are the only free service to do this.

One problem we have is the site does not handle even a moderate number of visitors well. When more than a few people are using it, the vps appears to become overloaded and has to be restarted. nginx has been installed but does not seem to help much because our content is not static (my guess).
If anyone can help with ideas to improve service performance it would be appreciated. We want to scale up but can not do it.
