Zoocha is seeking a talented php/drupal developer with a few years professional experience to join our our development team. You will primarily be developing sites from scratch working in partnership with a front-end developer, but you may from time to time be responsible for adding new features to our clients existing sites. We are looking for a developer who knows their onions in the following:
Must have’s
- Strong PHP skills.
- Good SQL skills.
- Ability to develop websites according to published standards and design guidelines.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
- Know your way around Drupal 6/7 (architecture, development, theming)
- Experience in writing custom modules for Drupal – and know when to write a module, and more importantly, know when NOT to write a module.
- Experience with WordPress or some other PHP framework / platform
- Basic LAMP Administration
- Object Oriented Design
- An understanding of the front end markup, JavaScript (jQuery) and CSS would be highly beneficial
- Experience with Git or other version control system
