After Drupal Gov Days in Bruxelles there has been no follow up that I know after the presentation of Stephano Bertolo (slides attached). Stephano knows a lot about Drupal. He gave the example of OpenPublic (slides 25) and on slides 28, he told us that there was a budget of 35 M Eur budget to help ““Small and Medium Enterprises building pools of data, content, language resources to maximise reuse” (FP7-ICT-2011-SME-DCL)
I may be mistaken but I think the Drupal Community could fit into that :
-We could list all projects of translation of OpenPublic and what it would take to coordinate
-Imagine apps that would fit into “ building pools of Data” for example an app to link each instance of OpenPublic to a directory of Opendata set realeased thanks OpenPUblic or an apps to link this dataset to an existing pool of Data like http://lod2.eu and http://latc-project.eu
More detail on http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/dc/index.cfm?fuseaction=usersite.FP7DetailsC...
The next step would be to discuss this and list what happens in each of our countries ? Who could work ? on what ? and in what country ?
