Learning Sessions

Not sure if I speak for more of the LonDug people, but one of my favourite things is learning new things about Drupal. I think a huge benefit to this group will be the knowledge sharing aspect.

I can't remember all the sticky notes that were on the windows, but here are a few things I would like to learn from some of the more advanced users:

  1. Module Development (the use of hooks, and some of the higher end programming required to write a custom module)
  2. Mobile sites and applications
  3. Site Optimization and caching for better performance

Some things I would be willing to do a session on:

  1. Custom Theming (From PSD to Theme)
  2. Views and Panels
  3. Imagecache

I also really like the idea of a "case study" type of presentation, where someone would take a well rounded site, and go through the process, programming, modules, and steps they took to create the site. Or as someone else mentioned, take a random site, and go through how a site like that would be created using Drupal.

Would like to hear other thoughts on this aspect of things.

Brandon
