Our client located in Cincinnati, Ohio has an immediate contract opening for a Drupal expert with development experience with content automation and source control. The right candidate will bring experience working in a high-profile, high-volume web publishing environment. The responsibilities will include structuring Drupal CMS for accommodating editorial content and developing Drupal modules that serve site functionality. This role will also include, creating PHP and custom code to achieve video and content publication, as well as converting design mockups to functional site templates. In addition, extending MySQL database tables to accommodate data workflows will be part of the task as the candidate participates in the analysis, definition, and scoping of efficient, cost effective application solutions. The candidate will be expected to work with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (e.g. business development, database development, web designers, end-user training).
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 5 years experience developing Web sites for business purposes. Strong experience in the Drupal CMS is required, as well as expertise in PHP / MySQL web application development. Thorough understanding of the web and web browsers, their capabilities and their limitations. Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (both in general and with libraries such as prototype, scriptaculous and jQuery). Experience in Unix command line required. Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Attention to details, a must. Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Drupal expertise. Development experience with content automation and source control a plus. Experience working in high-profile, high-volume web publishing environments is a strong plus.
