The first Cheltenham Drupal user group meetup will be Wednesday 18th May, 19:00 to 21:30, at Tigerfish's offices. All are welcome to attend, and the discussion will be kept informal at a non-technical level, so whether you're a seasoned developer or a Drupal newbie, you'll have no problem following along.
The topics will include:
- Halldale: a case study on Drupal 6 development with CiviCRM and Ubercart integration.
- Building a fully featured email and social marketing platform in Drupal.
- Up to two guest speaker topics. If you'd like to present a topic for up to 30 minutes, please get in touch using the contact form on our site.
There will be time for general discussion and, as usual, affairs will proceed to the pub at the end of the session if there is enough interest.
Did we mention free beer? We'll have an array of beers on hand, and some soft drinks too, plus a host of snacks.
If you're planning to come along, you're more than welcome, but please show your interest on this page, so we have an idea of numbers in advance. Please visit our contact page to find out how to get here! There will be plenty of free parking at the front of the building, but if this does run out, there is a public car park right across the street, which does charge. If you are planning to come by train, the station is around 20 minutes away on foot, or a quick taxi ride.
