A Drupal newbie to Chennai Drupal Community

hi Chennai Drupal Community,
I am sivaji from Chennai doing final year B.E computer science in a self finance college,
I am learning drupal, its very interesting to write code for drupal module.I need tutorial which
explains drupal code if you any good tutorials please share it and i am searching for an opportunity
to contribute to drupal project. please guide me
