I currently have sites on Drupal 6.20
Each site is currently on a separate domain and content is managed by site owners.
I do this to avoid problems. I only do security fixes and upgrades after I complete a site.
I'm thinking I need some type of multi-site arrangment, but I'm not quite sure where to start.
All the sites are on one server, but some of the sites have high traffic.
Just cannot think sharing the Drupal modules across all those sites is best practice for me.
I don't think sharing the drupal core and addon modules would be satisifactory.
Currently, all the Mysql databases are specific to the respective site.
Several site owners would like to share one database among several separate websites.
I have discouraged sharing one database among sites.
I'm thinking that would save some time in several instances where clients has several sites with alot of information that is redundant.
There maybe a way to multi-site or there may be some software tools that will facilitate what I'm doing.
I'd be very interested to read some thoughts from others on this.
