Chicago Drupalcon was packed with awesome sessions. If you were not able to make it to Chi-town, but wished you could, join us at Vancouver, BC’s DrupalMirrorCon. It’s scheduled, for Sat. Mar. 19, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sun. Mar. 20, 12:30 pm to 5:15 pm, at Dharmalab, 1814 Pandora St. (right beside Free Geek). Drupal MirrorCon is essentially a weekend of watching video presentations from Chicago, with other Drupallers. There will be refreshments and a suggested donation of $10 to cover costs.
Perhaps, it should have been called “Drupal MirrorUnCon” because, like an unconference, the attendees set the schedule. If you want to participate, check out the sessions at http://chicago2011.drupal.org/sessions, then add them - or vote for them if they are already added - at http://www.reddit.com/r/mirrorcon_west. It’s free and easy to make a Reddit account if you don’t already have one, then post away! I know I’ll be adding sessions that I couldn’t see because they were running concurrently with other sessions I took in – you might want to consider this option also.
Lastly, we are considering this a test run for another Drupal MirrorCon in August – September, 2011, following the European Drupalcon, Aug. 23 – 25, 2011, in London, England, http://london2011.drupal.org.
