Well established, progressive web development agency working within the charitable, arts and cultural sector looking to recruit a Drupal/PHP Developer to work on the development of digital sites and online solutions for our expanding client base. You'll be joining a small dynamic team working on a range of exciting projects that make a difference for our clients. You'll be using Drupal for Good.
Role Overview
- Develop web applications using Drupal/PHP, JavaScript, MySQL
- Know when to write a module, and more importantly, know when NOT to write a module
- Deliver web applications to agreed schedules following the team's agile SDLC approach
- Maintain awareness of new technologies and their potential application on client engagements
- Recognise opportunities to improve Tincan best practice and submit constructive suggestions for change
- Maintain technical documentation and software configuration management
Key Skills Required
- Experience in developing and maintaining Drupal web applications in an Agile environment
- Experience in the functional requirements of charitable, arts and cultural clients
- Drupal 6/7
- PHP/MySQL
- Object Oriented Design/Programming
- Object Relational Mapping
- Experience of LAMP environments
- Apache server configuration
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and self motivation
- Taking ownership of deliverables and issues
- Working effectively in a dynamic, distributed team environment
- Grass roof thinking
